I currently have a fully furnished room in my home for rent to a single person. I'm 24 and married to a soldier who was at Ft Carson but will be in Germany soon, and I'd like to find someone to rent out one of the additional rooms in my house to until I move over to Germany at the end of this year/beginning of next year. Ideally I'd like to find someone relatively close to my age, clean and social. I don't want a renter to feel like they have to come home and go straight to their room. I want someone that's comfortable living here and feels like they can be on a friendly basis with me. I just don't want to have to be someone's maid. I do have dogs, well-behaved but playful. While it would be better if I didn't bring anymore dogs into the home, I'd possibly be amicable to a renter having a small/medium dog as long as it was fully housebroken and gets along well with others (upon observation first). Please no other pets however. The room itself is fully furnished with a queen sized bed, 2 side night stands, full dresser and a large closet with sliding doors. The house has a laundry room you can use. Our 3rd bedroom is used for an office at the moment and and will be available for you to use also. The basement can be used for storage if you have extra things (at the moment it's only partially finished), and there's a gym in the basement with free weights, cross-cable weights, treadmill and mat area with tv. I don't mind if the renter uses any of the things I have in the house - ie. dishes, cookware, appliances, etc as long as nothing gets destroyed, so really, you don't need to have anything of your own in terms of furniture and the likes, because the house is already more or less complete. Just your own personal items. But, if you do have your own things, I can either move the furniture in the bedroom to the basement or you're welcome to store your stuff in our basement. Rent is $400/mo and includes utilities (water, sewer, trash, electricity, propane, AND high speed wireless internet). $150 deposit (additional if bringing a pet), but I can work with you on installments. This is for a single person, unfortunately I can't rent to couples at this time. Also, I would prefer a month-to-month contract with a renter. House is near Plattville and Purcell. It is a short drive from the city of Pueblo, and 30 min from my house to Gate 20 on Ft Carson.
